Update due to COVID-19

Like you, JumpStart has been monitoring the COVID-19 implications on public health, gathering and travel restrictions, and trend projections over the coming months.

Although we have executed in-person career forums with partners and recruits successfully for 15 years, we’ve made the decision to host the Career Forum as a Virtual Experience. This change in approach prioritizes the health and safety of our participants and our partners.

Academic Partners

Academic partners of JumpStart’s Path2MBA initiative include the Fuqua School of Business (Duke), Harvard Business School, Wharton (University of Pennsylvania), Stanford Graduate School of Business, the University of Chicago Booth, Columbia Business School, Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, MIT’s Management Sloan School, Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, Kellogg (Northwestern), Yale School of Management, Babson College (Olin), University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business, University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, Penn State Smeal College of Business.

Attendee Audience

The Path2MBA Network is a combination of undergraduate and working professionals who aspire to attain an MBA over the next 1-5 years. Candidates are diverse individuals based on ethnicity, gender, Lgbtq, and veteran or military status. We typically host 75-120 attendees at our private ‘invite-only’ diversity forums.

Confirmed Registration

There is a time sensitive approach for admitted candidates to confirm participation and formally register. As context, the $150 Registration Fee to participate in our Diversity Forum and Webinar Series has been WAIVED. The fee is waived for current undergraduate students. Additionally, you will need to provide an updated resume, confirmation of travel details, and other items at by various milestone deadlines.

To best prepare you for the diversity forum, we have several webinars hosted by JumpStart with our alumni, MBA program partners, and other partners. Webinars are invite-only to those who complete an application to our forum.

Resume Guidance

Although you submitted a resume as part of your application to JumpStart, we request you upload your most current resume to this registration site. As context, some of you may have reflected new information on your resume in listing recent experiences or recognition. We will provide a resume book that will be distributed to corporate partners, so you will need to upload your resume by May 1.

Headshot Guidance

JumpStart will produce a Photobook of all Forum attendees. This tool will be distributed to our Corporate Partners and recruiting contacts. We request that you upload your headshot. To maximize the impact your headshot will have on those who will see it, we advise that your headshot be professional in nature. An image of you, dressed in professional attire and taken with your mobile phone, is acceptable, as our graphic design partner will adjust, scale and crop your image to the required specifications needed for the Photobook. Your headshot can be attached when you REGISTER initially for the Forum on this site or through MY FORUM when logged into your profile.
